Welcome back to another busy term! I hope you all enjoyed your holidays.
In term two, Taupata (Room Four) will be continuing to investigate ‘Who am I?” as part of our Culture and Heritage theme for Social Science. The students will look at how they are similar yet different to other members of the class, investigate their family ancestry and will learn about the Owhiro Bay and Wellington community.The Culture and Heritage theme will be integrated into other curriculum areas, for example, Writing, Te Kete Rourou and the Arts.Shelly Berry will continue to teach in Taupata when I have my Provisionally Registered Teacher (PRT) release time. This will be every Monday afternoon for half the day. The following learning link ideas are suggestions to increase the learning opportunities at home.
