Kia ora koutou, I really enjoy working with Year 1 children and seeing their transformation from preschoolers into independent learners. My teaching passions are literacy and the arts. My programme is fully grounded in the fundamentals but we have plenty of time for magic and fun. I taught pre-school music classes for several years and I am very keen to involve students in music of any form.

I am an enthusiastic gardener and encourage students to be Kaitiaki of our environment. I love to be active and enjoy cycling and tramping and support active play at school.

I have returned to Wellington after a lengthy stint teaching in Thailand which allowed me to travel extensively. I found working and living amidst another culture very rewarding and I relish the multi-cultural aspects of our community.
