Ōwhiro Bay School welcomes new enrolments at any time.

At the southern edge of Te Whanganui-a-Tara lies Ōwhiro Bay, a place shaped by the meeting of land, sea, and generations of people. The name Ōwhiro comes from Whiro, the first night of the lunar month - the moonless night. It speaks of beginnings, of quiet darkness before growth, and of the potential that sits within every new cycle. It is a fitting name for a place where our learners begin their journey. The Enrolment Process
Thank you for choosing Ōwhiro Bay School. We are really excited to welcome you to the Ōwhiro Bay Learning Community.

To start the enrolment process, you can complete the Enrolment Form online.
You will also need to email to office@owhiro.school.nz

A copy of your child’s Birth Certificate or Passport
OR a copy of your child’s Certificate of Identity, Permanent Resident Visa or Study Visa details

This enrolment process will take approximately 15 minutes to complete.

Once you’ve submitted your enrolment form, our team will be in contact with you about the next steps, such as meeting with our Principal and taking a tour of the school (if you haven’t already), booking in visits so your child can meet their teacher and spend some time in the class, and confirming your child’s first day.
